Special Olympic athletes compete in county games


OKEECHOBEE -- Okeechobee Special Olympians competed in the county games bowling tournament on July 16. After a year off due to COVID-19, the athletes were thrilled to be back to playing.

Congratulations to Omar Martinez, Joseph Berry, RJ Sandefur, Jason Brady, Carol Marker and Ladonna Rednour for winning blue ribbons for Okeechobee County, and congratulations to all the other athletes.
