OKEECHOBEE – What’s on your “wish list” for the 2025 Okeechobee Music Festival?

There will not be a festival this year, but organizers are busy planning the 2025 OMF and they want to hear from festival fans.

“The Soundslinger family is busy dreaming up some seriously mind-blowing magic for the next OMF and we want to hear from you. Hit the link in our bio to submit your OMF wishes. What Okee moments still have you smiling ear to ear? What would make your next OMF experience the best Okee yet?” was posted on the OMF Facebook page on Jan. 18. “Magic happens at OMF because of each of you. You’re the fuel, fire and heart of OMF’s soul. We’re listening and we can’t wait to Enter the Portal again with you all. Hit that link in our bio and submit your wish list by Feb. 1.”

“Begging for a diverse lineup like this festival used to have! Give me funk, give me rock, give me rap, give me EDM,” posted Valerie Lattell.

” I’ve always enjoyed Legacy acts and think they’d fit in nicely. . Names like Matchbox20. Sheryl Crow. Doobie Brothers (that Powwow with Michael McDonald was amazing!). Chic. Acts such as those to go with your usual amazing lineup.” stated John Howard.

“Just original year 1 Okee vibes all around please!” stated William Winton. Others agreed the first year (2016) was the best Okeechobee Music Festival.

Many fans asked for more shade structures to protect them from the blazing Florida sun, especially in the AquaChobee area.
