Okeechobee County Schools COVID-19 Update

OKEECHOBEE — Between Saturday, Sept. 18 and Wednesday, Sept. 22, 123 students and/or staff members were excluded from in-person instruction in Okeechobee County Schools due to possible COVID-19 contact:

•Central Elementary- 0
• District Staff- 0
• Everglades Elementary- 0
• North Elementary- 0
• Okeechobee Achievement Academy- 0
• Okeechobee Freshman Campus- 0
• Okeechobee High School- 40
• Okeechobee Virtual School-0

• Osceola Middle School- 76
• Seminole Elementary- 2
• South Elementary School-0
• Yearling Middle School- 5

Between Saturday, Sept. 18 and Wednesday, Sept. 22, 7 students and/or staff have tested positive for COVID-19.

• North Elementary- 0

• Okeechobee Achievement Academy- 0
• Okeechobee Freshman Campus- 0
• Okeechobee High School- 0
• Okeechobee Virtual School-0

• Yearling Middle School- 0

Since school began on August 10, 2021, 3,339 students and/or staff have been excluded from in-person instruction and 297 have tested positive.
