The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Joseph Hawkins, 31, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Sept. 9 by OCSO and charged with four counts contempt of court on felony charges. He is being held without bond.

• Connie Cox, 56, Northeast 15th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 10 by ONTF and charged with possession and possession with intent to sell cocaine within 1,000 feet of a specified area. Bond was set at $120,000.

• Joshua Acevedo, 23, Northwest 37th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 13 by OCSO and charged with failure to register. Bond to be set by the judge.

• Techalin Joseph, 35, Northeast Fifth Street, was arrested Sept. 15 by OCSO and charged with battery, inmate on inmate. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Irashell Rosado Rosado, 37, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Sept. 16 by OCSO and charged with child neglect with great bodily harm and intentional child abuse. Bond was set at $75,000.

• Randall Wood, 38, Northwest Fourth Street, was arrested Sept. 18 by OCSO and charged with two counts battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence.

• Jhon Jean Baptiste, 24, North Miami, was arrested Sept. 18 by OCSO and charged with fleeing law enforcement while lights and siren are activated. Bond was set at $7,500.

• Cory McGuigan, 31, Northwest 96th Street, was arrested Sept. 18 by OPD and charged with DUI, driving without a license and possession of cannabis resin. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Brian Arnold, 34, Northeast 124th Street, was arrested Sept. 20 by OPD and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,750.

• Sean Beaucher, 39, Vero Beach, was arrested Sept. 20 by OPD and charged with driving without a license third or subsequent offense. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Don Carlos Johnson II, 46, Northwest 20th Lane, was arrested Sept. 20 by OCSO and charged with unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling. Bond was set at $100,000.

• Michael Schriber, 59, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Sept. 20 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,750.

• Rolando Rodriguez, 41, Northwest 252nd Street, was arrested Sept. 21 by OPD and charged with habitual driving without a license. Bond was set at $1,000.
