OKEECHOBEE — Thursday, Jan. 25 — Everglades Elementary School welcomed guest readers this week as Sheriff Noel Stephen, Major Michael Hazellief (along with K-9 Angel), Civil Clerk Denise Sikorski, Sgt. Jack Nash and Sgt. Heath Hughes made the surprise visit and enjoyed reading with some really excited kids.

We extend a special thank you to SRO Deputy Tim Higgins and all the Everglades Elementry staff, especially Mrs. Jenna Peterson (her banana bread), for always making us feel welcome and invited.
