Local woman still missing after four years. Can YOU help bring her home?

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — Kelley Nicole Sherman was last seen on Mother’s Day in 2020 near 605 N.E. Park Street where Sunshine BBQ and Café is now located. Not only is Kelley missing, but she is considered endangered. Her family is still offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to a conviction and/or to the location of Kelley.

A mom, with two young children, Kelley has always been known as a family-oriented person. Before her disappearance, she spoke to her father and sisters regularly, and according to her family would never leave town without letting them know where she was going.

Kelley’s dad, cousins and children live in Okeechobee and have not heard anything from her in the four years she has been gone.

Not only does Kelley always let her family and friends know when she will be out of town, but she is also active on social media, and no one has heard from her in four years, no one at all.

Detectives have run into problems because those with information are sometimes afraid to give them the information. Sometimes they have warrants themselves and don’t want to talk to the police, because they are afraid they will be arrested, BUT you can call and give the police the information anonymously.

If you have any information or know her whereabouts, contact Detective Savanna Yates at 863-763-9784 or Detective Jack Boon at 863-801-1407, about Case #200701009. You may contact Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 800-273-8477 and remain anonymous, and you may be entitled to a reward.

Kelly Nicole Sherman, 37, is a white woman with red or auburn hair and blue eyes. She is 5-foot-2 and weighs about 115 pounds. She has two tattoos, cherries on the right side of her abdomen and stars on her foot.

Detective Savanna Yates said the case is open and active but unfortunately, there have been no new leads.

Kelley’s family loves and misses her very much. If you have any information at all, please call one of the numbers above and bring Kelley home. Please, for the sake of her family, come forward if you know anything.
