OKEECHOBEE — Firefighter James Smith was presented a new helmet shield this morning from Chief Wooten and Captain Vinson, after a year-long class and passing his national registry certification, Smith is now a fully functioning paramedic with Okeechobee County Fire Rescue. Congratulations, James!
