OKEECHOBEE — The Big O Teen Anglers held their June tournament on Saturday, June 24 out of Okee-Tantie with 18 anglers participating. It was a great day of fishing. There were 36 bass caught weighing a total of 63.89 pounds with 0 dead fish. The largest bass caught was in the 14-19 age group at 4.24 pounds by Tanner Seabolt. Great job Tanner!
This month’s standings were as follows:
9-13 Age Group
• Roger Crum placed first with 7.08 pounds.
• Katie Fender placed second with 6.43 pounds.
14-19 Age Group
• Tanner Seabolt placed first with 9.28 pounds and the Big Fish at 4.24 pounds.
• Holden Hawkins placed second with 3.49 pounds.
Every month boat captains volunteer their Saturday morning to youth anglers; therefore, we’d like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the following: David Straight, Terry Seabolt, Jamie Stephens, Kyle Powers, Adam Crum, Nick Neswick, David Diehl, Billy Ellerbee and Jim Newell.
