OKEECHOBEE -- Little Miss Candelaria Diaz-Martin turned 8 years old on Monday, Sept. 13. Candelaria is currently fighting a battle with childhood cancer and is unable to go to school. The Okeechobee community, including her school North Elementary, the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office and Okeechobee High School's Jason Anderson with the Go Gold Program were not about to let her celebrate alone. A huge crowd turned out to wish her a happy birthday in a drive by celebration. Happy birthday Candelaria!
