LaBelle High School Class of 2021 Top Five Honor Graduates

LABELLE -- LaBelle High School is pleased to announce the Class of 2021’s Valedictorian -Eric Reyes, and Salutatorian, Jose Jimenez. Top Five Honor Graduates also include Sarah Snow, Alyssa Harrell and Kyla Miller.

Eric Reyes, Valedictorian is ranked number one of 322 students and has a weighted GPA of 5.2. He has completed 101 community service hours. Eric has been a member of the National Honor Society at LHS for the last two and a half years and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Florida Southwestern State College for approximately a year. He will receive his Associate in Arts degree from Florida Southwestern at the end of April 2021. He will continue his education at Florida Gulfcoast University, majoring in Construction Management. Eric’s parents are Isabel Guerrero and Eulogio Reyes.

Jose Jimenez, Salutatorian is ranked number two of 322 students and has a weighted GPA of 5.03. He has completed 75 community service hours. Jose is a first generation college student. He will graduate with his Associate in Arts degree from Florida Southwestern College at the end of April 2021. He will continue with his education at FSW and pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Business Supervision and Management. Jose’s parents are Adriana Ramirez and Julio Gomez.

Sarah Snow is a Top Five Honor Graduate with a weighted GPA of 5.0. She has completed 321 community service hours. Sarah will graduate with her Associate in Arts degree from Florida Southwestern College at the end of April 2021. She has been a participant in Girl Scouts for 8 years, enjoys playing the violin, baking, drawing, painting, and playing with her rescue puppy. Sarah will be attending Florida Southern College, majoring in Game Design and Computer Science. Sarah’s parents are Kim and Steve Snow.

Alyssa Harrell is a Top Five Honor Graduate with a weighted GPA of 4.944. She has completed 81 community service hours. Alyssa will graduate with her Associate in Arts degree at the end of April 2021 from Florida Southwestern college. She has made the Dean’s list at FSW for 3 semesters. Alyssa will continue her education at FSW and will pursue her Bachelor’s of Science in nursing. Alyssa’s parents are Amanda and Victor Harrell.

Kyla Miller is a Top Five Honor Graduate with a weighted GPA of 4.942. She has completed 83 community service hours. Kyla will graduate with her Associate in Arts degree from Florida Southwestern college at the end of April 2021. Kyla has participated in extracurricular activities all four years of high school. She currently serves as president of Student Government, National Honor Society, Thespian troupe, and Mu Alpha Theta (Math team). She is the recipient of the prestigious Susan B Anthony and Frederick Douglass award from the University of Rochester. She has also received a full 4 year scholarship that totals to over $200,000 a year. Kyla will attend Grinnell College in Iowa and major in Pre-med. Her parents are Johnny Miller and Kuciana Vaiton.
